We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Community Coordinator to join the IHEA team and support our projects in Kenya. This position will be responsible for community communication and coordination, ensuring the smooth implementation of the project in the community.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Organize and coordinate community activities and health education lectures.

• Recruit and train community health volunteers to provide health education and basic medical support.

• Maintain good communication with community members, collect feedback, and improve project implementation.

• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining community relations to ensure project goals are met.

• Conduct regular home visits to provide personalized health advice and support.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Work, Sociology, Public Health, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of community work experience, familiar with Kenyan local culture and community relations.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to work independently.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of working in a multicultural environment.

• Ability to handle emergencies and solve problems.

Workload and Salary:

 

• Full-time position, 44 hours per week.

• Salary range: Ksh 30,000 – 50,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
