Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development officer responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring the long-term success of client relationships. The ideal candidate must have significant experience within the media, marketing, or content creation industry and a deep understanding of the systems and dynamics within the media sector
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry referrals. Build relationships with key players in the media, entertainment, and marketing sectors.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals. Customize presentations to highlight RovatelMedia’s capabilities in the context of client needs.
Close deals and negotiate contracts with potential clients while ensuring favorable terms and a focus on long-term partnerships.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with current clients, ensuring continued satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale, ensuring seamless implementation of services.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
Monitor trends and competitor activities within the media space. Analyze market data to refine Rovatel Media’s offerings and position them strategically in the marketplace.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Marketing, Content, and Creative Teamsto align business development efforts with the company’s strategic goals. Ensure that client expectations are met through seamless team coordination.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare regular sales performance reports, tracking leads, opportunities, and outcomes. Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and manage the pipeline through the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must Have Industry Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the media, content creation, or digital marketing space.
• A solid understanding of media systems, client acquisition, and the dynamics of the media industry is essential.
Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain client relationships at all levels.
• Experience using CRM tools and sales tracking software.
• Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
Education:
• A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Personality:
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and independently manage projects.
