Job Summary:
The Chartered Accountant is responsible for managing the organization’s financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic advice on financial planning and budgeting. The role involves preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and optimizing financial processes to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow and manage the organization’s financial health.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial laws.
• File accurate and timely tax returns and financial reports.
3. Auditing:
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and transparency of financial records.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
4. Advisory:
• Provide financial advice to management on cost-saving measures, investments, and business growth strategies.
• Support decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
5. Team Collaboration:
• Work with other departments to develop budgets and manage expenses.
• Supervise and train junior accountants where necessary.
Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of [2/3 years] experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
