HR OFFICER

Positions needed: 1

S/he will be responsible for running HR functions, supporting other departments and employees with an objective of achieving a positive and impactful employee experience.
The position holder will be responsible for the following, amongst others:

  • Staff planning, budgeting and budget control
  • Job evaluation and analysis, managing recruitment and selection including new employee onboarding
  • Talent review and succession planning
  • Analysing and monitoring performance of departmental objectives and SWOT
  • Learning and development needs analysis and implementing learning and development programmes
  • Managing staff performance and employee recognition and rewarding
  • Making HR decisions and providing support including sound HR advise to departments, faculty and staff prioritising a positive employee experience
  • Collecting employee feedback and acting accordingly
  • Coordinating, guiding on and implementing staff disciplinary policy
  • Managing employee separation
  • Planning and implementing employee wellness programmes
  • Payroll management
  • Organising and running staff events
