Job Title: Sales Developers

Summary:

The Sales Developers will play a vital role in supporting our Trade Sales Executive (TSE) by teaming up with Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) in the Western Region. Their primary focus will be to ensure effective secondary sales execution while building strong relationships with DSRs, driving product visibility, and collaborating with the marketing team for new product launches. The first Sales Developer will be based in Eldoret, covering Eldoret and its environs, while the second Sales Developer will be based in Bungoma, covering Bungoma and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Support DSRs in Sales Execution

  • Collaborate closely with DRs to develop strategies that achieve secondary sales targets in the region.
  • Ride along with DRs regularly to coach and enhance their sales strategies and execution effectiveness.

Market Coverage

  • Ensure comprehensive market coverage for Steam Energy Drink in Eldoret and Bungoma by actively engaging with local distributors and customers.
  • Establish strong relationships with secondary customers to enhance brand loyalty and product visibility.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with the marketing team to implement marketing campaigns and new product launches effectively within the territory.
  • Assist in the execution of promotional activities and ensure compliance with marketing initiatives.

Training & Development

• Provide ongoing training and support to DRs to ensure they are well-equipped to promote brand products effectively.

Feedback & Reporting

• Gather insights on market trends and customer feedback, providing regular reports to the TSE and marketing team to inform strategy.

Loyalty Programs

• Assist in the execution of the Wholesale Loyalty Program to drive increased order volumes from secondary customers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing or a related business field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proven experience in FMCG sales and distribution, particularly with a focus on secondary sales execution.
  • Familiarity with the Eldoret or Bungoma market is an advantage.
