DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- To prepare irrigation programs using available software for irrigation and fertigation as per water requirement
- To manage and supervise all irrigation activities in a zone.
- To coordinate with managers and other service providers on programs and make necessary arrangements for implementation.
- To prepare monthly and annual budgets for effectively running irrigation.
- To oversee installation and maintenance of irrigation systems .
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- BSc. Irrigation and Water resource engineer, BSc. Agricultural engineering, BEng. Civil and Irrigation Engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, using AutoCAD, and using other
MS programs. - Participated in any irrigation system installation for not less than two years
- – Proven experience of at least 2 years in Sugar industry.
