Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Home Automation Engineer with a background in
Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma). A hands-on experience with Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) is an added advantaged. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems in buildings, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of electrical and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
– System Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement automation solutions for GRMS and BMS to control various building systems like lighting, HVAC, KNX, access control, etc.
– Programming & Configuration: Develop and configure control logic for automation systems, PLCs, and HMIs in line with project requirements.
– Integration: Integrate GRMS and BMS with other building systems (e.g., fire alarms, energy management systems, elevators) for centralized control and monitoring.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation systems, ensuring minimum downtime and optimal performance.
– Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning of newly installed or upgraded systems to ensure they meet specifications and performance standards.
– Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, system designs, and operation protocols.
– Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate automation-related tasks and ensure seamless project delivery.
– Client Support: Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users on operating and maintaining automation systems.
– Upgrades & Improvements: Identify opportunities for system upgrades and improvements to enhance building efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
– 2+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably with GRMS and BMS.
– Proficiency in GRMS and BMS systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, or equivalent).
– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and automation.
– Understanding of HVAC systems, energy management, and building electrical distribution
